Umbrella's!

I'm a shameless umbrella junkie. Seriously. Its one of those things, like shoes and bags that I cannot live without.

I use them for the sun and rain and therefore, the cuter they are, the better.

But it is SO hard to find a good umbrella that a) doesn't break at the mention of a gust of wind and b) isn't a lame and black and retractable or either a gigantic, multi-person monstrosity or one that barely covers you.

Here's my list of fave umbrella stores:

Daffy's - $5-$30 (what can't you get from this place?)

Home & Haven on Smith St in Boerum Hill - $28

Zara - $20 (they occasionally have them in lovely colors, although I've found that the umbrella's themselves are pretty cheap and flimsy for the price)

Filene's Basement - $12.99 (great, classic old-fashioned, black)

In the beginning...

Have you ever wondered where to get a good, last-minute gift for a friend? Where to find cheap flowers? How to pay less for Broadway tickets? Well, me too. So, I thought it would be good to share my ongoing iPhone list (yes, I'm a MASSIVE dork and keep an ongoing iPhone list along with all the other lists floating around my house) of things that rule, are cheap, shouldn't be missed and are just plain fantastic.
