I don't have kids, but I've bought this for many an expectant Mom and I ALWAYS hear how amazing it is about a year later. Its affordable (well.. relatively) and ecologically sound. And its cute, too. Also, depending on the pattern you get, its good for both male/females (both baby and parent). My favorites are the Jack Martin (sadly discontinued), The Lulu and the Manhattan Moma.
